This regulation, detailed in Administrative Decision No. 150 \/ 2024, introduces comprehensive measures for managing and overseeing domesticated wild animals. It mandates that the Environment Authority must license any such possession or transfer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>License Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To acquire or transfer domesticated wild animals, individuals or entities must:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Be Omani nationals.<\/li>\n<li>Have an appropriate facility for the animals.<\/li>\n<li>Agree to comply with all regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Pay necessary fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">License applications must be submitted using the prescribed form, including all required documents. The Authority has 30 working days to approve or reject applications. Rejected applicants may appeal the decision within 60 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Licenses for possessing domesticated wild animals are valid for two years and can be renewed under similar conditions. Renewal applications must be submitted 60 days before the license expires.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><strong>Initial License:<\/strong>\u00a0200 Omani riyals per animal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Renewal Fee:<\/strong>\u00a010 Omani riyals for two years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transfer License:<\/strong>\u00a02 Omani riyals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Licensees must bear transportation costs. Obtain Authority approval for the disposal of animals. Install microchips or numbered earrings on animals from the first and second generations. Report deaths and births of domesticated wild animals. Allow periodic inspections by Authority specialists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Violations of the regulation can result in various administrative sanctions, including fines, suspension, or cancellation of the license.
