In celebration of International Women’s Day, our law firm partnered with the Ministry of Labor and the Occupational Health & Safety Authority to spotlight the legal protections and workplace safeguards for women in Oman. This collaboration aimed to raise awareness about women’s safety, entitlements, and opportunities across various sectors and highlights Women’s Legal Protections as per Omani Laws.
Our firm gave a detailed presentation on Omani laws and women’s legal standing, focusing on key areas such as the Basic Statute of the State, Civil Law, and Family and Personal Status Law. The presentation covered essential topics including women’s rights in inheritance, marriage, divorce, and child custody, along with their entitlements in professional environments.
The Ministry of Labor’s Occupational Health & Safety Authority discussed regulations related to workplace safety, anti-harassment measures, maternity leave policies, and equal employment rights, ensuring that women are supported and protected in their workspaces.
This event reflects our law firm’s commitment to promoting women’s legal protections in Oman and fostering a safe, inclusive working environment for all.
